Project Overview
'7 Days In Tokyo' is a travel guide/itinerary concept that consists of a curation of some of the most popular tourist destinations in Tokyo. Each spread is organised into a separate day — taking the reader on a 7 day journey through the bustling city of Tokyo. The booklet's design is influenced by a Japanese hype beast aesthetic, with an offset grid system, bold type, contrasting and overlaying elements carried across the entirety of the design. Tokyo's famous Shibuya Crossing was another major design influence — with the black parallel lines across the spreads alluding to the famous markings of the Shibuya Crosswalk.
